At the same time as the most important anthological exhibition on the artist Artemisia Gentileschi, organized by 24 ORE Cultura and the Milan Municipality at Palazzo Reale from the 22nd September 2011 to the 29th January 2012, comes the first official application dedicated to this famous seventeenth-century painter.

A fascinating journey in the artistic world of a gifted and daring woman, in her works and in her life, thanks to original multimedia, unpublished audios and videos, a high definition navigation through her masterworks, the captivating reading of her writings and interactive games in 3D surroundings which ideally reproduce her private space.

Leaning on the artist’s desk, in a personal and intimate space, that involves and embraces us, we can touch her objects and her papers, so as to enter into Artemisia’s world and get closely acquainted with her works, her life, the facts related to her private and public life.
Once we open the desk drawers we can read two secret and unpublished letters written in her own hand. Whereas in the section dedicated to her paintings we can view them in high resolution, enlarging them, discovering them down to the smallest detail, while listening to the audio explanation and in-depth analysis. Finally, in the section dedicated to her life and to the trial we will have the opportunity to listen to unpublished audios: the interpretation of Emma Dante and interviews with the experts Roberto Contini and Francesco Solinas.
An innovative application in the world of art through which it will be possible to know the artist and to take advantage of a lot of free content, among which an amusing and interactive game. Through this application it will also be possible to purchase the eBook of the monograph dedicated to the artist and an audio offering an in-depth analysis tour.
